The quality of Xiao Long Baos differs from place to place, as this picture shows. For those who don't know, Xiao Long Bao is some sort of dumpling with a bit of soup inside the flour-based skin. This Xiao Long Bao that was ordered at a Food Court defies comments. It looks like some form of mutated creature, or perhaps some sort of plastic surgery gone wrong. Also, there is an absence of soup in these Xiao Long Baos.
The lesson? Only order these things at a proper restaurant, not some food court outlet.
