Local blogger sounds out on downloaders arrest

On the "twin star" blog, you can read a reaction piece to the arrest of the 3 filesharers-cum-pirates.
As with all issues, this was in the hearts of every file sharing pirate out there in Singapore. I know this, because I am within their social circle. Everyone just kinda adopted a wait-and-see stance to the copyright issue ever since the Bill was passed in the Parliamane tto threaten illegal file-sharing activities that was spawned from the heydays of Napster. For Singaporeans, finding the place to obtain the latest music releases was via through word of mouth - and that place is IRC. Yes please, Galaxynet is the keyword.
...
Various CD/DVD retailers should do more things to improve sales revenue instead of just focusing on profit-making statistics. Maybe they should ask themselves are they doing enough to get our attention? Hell, the music that I listen to aren’t even available at HMV - simply because they are rather catered to the teeny-bopping crowd. Bah! I am tired of debating about this already. You can always find this never-ending chatter topic elsewhere in the world. Google is your best friend.
